motifs of solitude
As a young adult, I set out from home and a protected life as a child and a teenager, into nature. With eyes full of wonder but also a longing and dull heart, I was suddenly and acutely aware of the flora around. I was in awe of nature and its beauty. While also being hit with the reality of its state and vulnerability in the way we have shaped it. These photographs are the meeting of this new found world and reality and my personal ache and longing for meaning.
